Jackie + Rob :: Happily Ever After

J+R Blog2

I have decided that Rob and Jackie have made my job to difficult. You see, I am only half way through editing photos and I already have too many that have become my favorites. I will just start off by saying, Jackie is such a radiant bride and when I walked in and saw her dress my jaw dropped, it was absolutely gorgeous.

Rob's brother who was also his amazing best man rushed over to me before the ceremony with the ring boxes in his hand for me to photography. My immediate reaction as soon as I took a peak, how awesome is Rob's ring?! He has the wedding date in roman numerals rolling around it, this is defiantly one of my favorites of all time.

The wedding was outside at Homestead Meadow's "Enchanted Forest". What made it even more magical was that this was the first ceremony ever held at this site. I will also send out some good vibes to Ben from BK Video Productions who was the videographer for the wedding. He is a great guy, easy to work with, and I cannot wait to see his finished product.

These next three photos are part of my favorite segment of the ceremony when Jackie's Mom came up and talked about the butterfly kisses from her young daughter, and how they knew this day would be so special to their daughter. You can really see the emotion from Jackie and Rob.

These two were just too adorable!

This is Jackie's grandfather, and this little butterfly that was released during the ceremony landed right on his hand and sat there for quite some time.

I turned around and here was Jackie's Dad pulling around the tractor to move the chairs. All I can say is, we do not mess around in Wisconsin.

I absolutely loved this photograph. We were waiting for the get away car to pick up Rob and Jackie, and I suggested they quick run in the field. These two are so amazing, without hesitation they ran out into the field, I hope they think it was worth it!

Alright, so this is the same image as above, but I could not decide between the color and black & white versions. What is everyone's favorite?

The getaway car arrives!

We went to the first place that Jackie & Rob met in person. It just so happened that this ball was on the table, how appropriate. Of course my first thought, "Ring shot!".

Jackie's Mom and Dad watching the slideshow of her and Rob growing up and coming together. I love sneaking these shots.

Jackie and Rob are absolutely amazing individuals, from the moment I met them I immediately felt apart of their family and was so excited to capture this day. I loved their story, Rob serving in the army oversees, Jackie acting as his pen pal. He comes back home and realize they are meant for each other. Their personalities mesh, and just being around them is a joy. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
